This statistic displays the share of vegetarians in the Netherlands in 2018, by age group. Roughly five percent of the respondents participating in this survey said that they would describe their diet as vegetarian. The largest share of vegetarians was found among the 18 to 24 year olds, at 11 percent. In contrast, of the 65+ respondents only two percent stated to consider themselves vegetarians.
